Last night, Joe Jackson appeared with the mayor of Michael Jackson’ss hometown, Mayor Rudy Clay to announce the construction of the Jackson family museum and performing arts center in Gary. The men decided the best place to share this news was at the Brenden Theatre at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

The gentlemen received a $10,000 check from Johnny Brenden, president and CEO of Brenden Theatres Corp, to begin work on the project. We estimate they’ll need about $30 million more to get it off the ground.
Hopefully, no one was dumb enough to hand over that money directly to Joe. It’ll get spent before the first brick is bought to build the place!
