“Since it’s founding in 1987, Westside Children’s Center has been providing foster care and reunification services to children aged birth to eight who experience child abuse and/or neglect. Over time the agency’s services have expanded to include childcare and adoption, as well as child development and family support services that strengthen families and support children. We chose a location for the Center to best serve families residing in numerous pockets of poverty in western Los Angeles.

Since inception, Westside Children’s Center has been committed to making a difference in the course of children’s lives. Our flexible, integrated and culturally sensitive services have been reshaped over the years to reflect changing needs, new research and shifting demographics.

Westside Children’s Center, a not-for-profit agency, supports underserved, vulnerable children and their families in West Los Angeles
by providing a full range of crucial, multi-disciplinary services, including:

• Early care and education, child development, and special needs
• Child Welfare
• Foster care and adoption
• Family support
• Family Preservation
• Prevention
• Infant and family mental health
• Health consultation and referrals
• Evaluation, research and advocacy
• Partnerships with other community-based organizations.”
