Middle aged guys do the darndest things!

In what looks to be a pathetic attempt to look hip/cool and/or connect with the legions of ladies who adore Sex and the City, the other Eurythmic, 56-year old Dave Stewart, teamed up with a sex toy company to develop a diamond encrusted vibrator that retails for $1,400.

Dave’s vibrator is called the Little Steel Tonight.

It is made of solid steel with a “satin finish” and a band of 28 diamonds.

Little Steel Tonight is “the ultimate backstage pass” according to Dave’s sex toy partners. And, their “vibrators are the world’s quietest — all the better to enjoy the music.”

That’s not all!

It also comes with a guitar pick attached and the lyrics from Stewart’s latest solo song, Let’s Do It Again, scrawled all over it.

‘Owners’ also get a code that allows them to download the song.

The music biz is tough these days. Even though it is a bit creepy, you gotta give the guy a little credit for his creative outreach.

But, don’t worry credit crunch victims!
